You may choose to pursue a specialized concentration or business economics (private-sector employment or pursuing your MBA), public policy economics (government employment or policy-oriented organizations employment) or quantitative economics (for those who intend to seek employment in economic consulting or forecasting and/or pursue graduate study in economics, law school, or other related fields).

To best prepare you, Frostburg State University's economics program has flexible course plans, experiential opportunities and a variety of focuses to help you optimally run both your work and your personal day-to-day life. The program is flexible enough to allow you to combine these concentrations with an additional major or minor. You are encouraged to supplement major requirements with electives that best develop your particular interests.
